After spending 10 years in the motorsport industry, calibrating engines for racecars, Etienne has turned his passion for speed on the roads to speed on the water. And we’re not talking only about the powertrain.
On the water, understanding how boats perform in all aspects of their design is crucial. Etienne has personally turned two sailboats into fresh water race winners at the world’s longest continuously run long distance freshwater yacht race – the Bayview Mackinac Race on Lake Huron.

Kari grew up on the Georgian Bay waters and is a terrible sailor but excellent cook (very important for long distance sailboat races).
Professionally, Kari has managed some high stake engineering projects for the past 10 years in the building engineering industry. She balances budget, scope, and schedules to complete complex projects.
